1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Zip Strike Studios, the trade name of a sole proprietorship registered in Greece ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your use of Mouki: Your Pet Planner (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchases you make.

3. Your Account

  • When you first open the App, an anonymous account is created automatically. You may optionally link it to a Google or Apple account to keep your progress across devices.
  • If you do not link your account, your progress may be lost if you uninstall the App or change devices.
  • You are responsible for activity on your device and account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the App under Profile → Settings → Data → Delete Account, or as described on our account deletion page.

4. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. On Apple devices, this use is also subject to the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

The App, including its characters, artwork, animations, sounds, text, and software, is owned by Zip Strike Studios or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted here, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App.

5. Coins and Virtual Items

  • The App includes a virtual currency ("coins") and virtual items such as accessories and backgrounds. Coins can be earned in the App or bought as coin packs.
  • Coins and virtual items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or anything of value outside the App, and cannot be transferred or sold to other people.
  • You receive a limited license to use coins and virtual items within the App; you do not own them.
  • Except where required by law or by the refund policy of the app store you purchased from, purchases of coin packs are final and non-refundable.
  • We may change the prices, availability, or behaviour of virtual items, for example to balance the App. Coins and items may be lost if you delete your account, or if your anonymous account is lost because it was not linked to a Google or Apple account.

6. Mouki Pro Subscription

  • Plans. Mouki Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price and features are shown in the App before you buy.
  • Billing. Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. All billing is handled by the app store; we do not receive your payment card details.
  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Free trials. If a free trial is offered, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Free trials are available once per account, as determined by the app store.
  • Cancellation. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Google Play or Apple ID account settings, or via Profile → Settings → Manage Subscription in the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds for app store purchases directly.
  • Price changes. If the subscription price changes, you will be notified in advance as required by the app store, and you may cancel before the new price applies.

7. Advertising

The App may offer optional rewarded ads, provided by Google AdMob, that you can choose to watch in exchange for an in-app reward. Rewards are granted only when an ad is watched to completion, and ads are not always available. Mouki Pro members are not offered ads. How ad partners process data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you enter into the App, such as pet names, task titles, and pet photos. You give us a limited license to store and process that content only as needed to operate the App for you (for example, syncing your pets and tasks). Pet photos stay on your device and are not uploaded. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any content you add.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • cheat, exploit bugs, or use modified clients, bots, or other unauthorized tools to gain coins, items, or rewards;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or other users' data;
  • use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or any virtual items.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App, or remove coins or items obtained improperly, if we reasonably believe you have broken these rules.

10. Not Professional Advice

Mouki is a productivity and entertainment app. Reminders, tasks, and messages in the App are not veterinary, medical, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian about the health and care of your real pets.

11. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zip Strike Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, virtual items, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access to the App if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we discontinue the App. If we discontinue the App, we will give reasonable notice where possible. Sections 4, 5, 8, 12, 13, 15 and 16 survive termination.

15. Apple App Store Additional Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you and we acknowledge that:

  • These Terms are between you and Zip Strike Studios only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Zip Strike Studios, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the App.
  • If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • Zip Strike Studios, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
  • If a third party claims that the App or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Zip Strike Studios, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the App.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and once you accept them, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in the courts of that country.
